One of Italy's greatest wines. Beautiful Sangiovese rose petal, depth and complexity here already. Will surely improve over the next 5 to 10 years. Strikingly pure, with a bit of a punch, that is sure to mellow out in time as the wines tannins soften. Despite this the focus and finesse of Fontodi's wine demonstrates the exceptional winemaking these vineyards have become known for.
